Everyone knows this photo, it’s safe to say it’s a piece of hardcore history.
The venue where the shot was taken, probably is a piece of hardcore history in its self.
I could name how many incredible bands have played at The Well in Leeds over the years, but I have neither the time not patience to write that list.
Unfortunately the owners of The Well want to turn it into a restaurant, and obviously we want to help.
It takes to minutes two sign the petition and doing so could save one of the last decent venues in Leeds. So please, sign.

Reblogs, Reposts and any spreading of the link is also massively apprecited.
HELP SAVE THE WELL.

Played shows here, been to shows here, awesome venue, good times. Sign the petition to try and save the Well.Reblog, repost, spread the word.

As above.

I’ve loved The Well ever since I started going to gigs. When I lived in Leeds, it was my local. I signed this petition today because losing this venue would be a travesty.

Please sign!

I miss the radio one logo on the wall! I totally forgot about that until I saw this picture! Seriously the venue is vital to the Music Scene in this town and the country. Leeds will not be the same without it. I’ve seen so many shows here, Queen Adreena, Young Heart Attack, Towers Of London, and more recently Tigers Jaw. Ive also had some of the best night in my life here, many seeing local bands and friends bands.
The thought of some posh cunt tucking into an overpriced slab of steak in the same room where I’ve shared blood, sweat and tears (I dislocated my ankle when the draft were playing, it fucking hurt) with my best friends is actually turning my stomach. The Well is home to so many unique, interesting and alternative people. They turned the Corn Ex into a restaurant and look at it now. Its fucking dead!
I really hope the owners see sense, and if they think were going to roll over without a fight. They’ve got another thing coming…

The Corn Exchange is a prime example of why to sign this!!
